As a commercial producer Cody does a lot of project development and conceptual work for clients. This can range anywhere from detailed project and pitch treatments for commercials all the way up to full television pilot development and packaging.
BroBQ was initially conceptualized as a 22 minute men’s lifestyle program centered around cooking and throwing a backyard barbecue.
A full pilot was developed and shot, along with a complete series outline, complete with talent packaging and marketing strategy aimed directly at OTT and cable networks. Cody took the reins as one of the head producers as well as the series pilot director.
After principle photography was completed on the pilot a condensed sizzle was edited and packaged with the series development materials and is currently being shopped to a variety of networks.
